YOK DON NATIONAL PARK TOUR

Duration: 01-day tour (08h00’ – 17h00’)

Tour program:

* Guide of CHD TRAVEL picks up guests around 08h00’ and depart to Yokdon National Park, 40km away Buon Ma Thuot city in the west to Cambodia border.

• Yokdon National Park, the largest of Vietnam’s nature reserves, has been gradually expanded and today encompasses 115,000 hectares of mainly dry open forest of dipterocarps. The park runs all the way up to the border with Cambodia, with the beautiful Srepok river flowing through it.

* On arrival to the office, we hear overall the park’s unique ecosystems and prepare some necessary supplies for this tour.

* Let’s us do the tour in the park with:

• Trekking/hiking to explore the natural beauties: to discover exceptionally rich fauna and flora, to observe birds, and primates in their natural habitat.
• Join in Elephant-friendly tour: The elephants’ routine unfolds naturally without being forced by the mahouts. Tourists stand at a safe distance to watch the elephants and listen to the tour guide describe each elephant and how they are cared for.
• Continue to trek about 05km towards the Srepok river and have picnic lunch, relax beside the river and cascades.
• Reach to the river then boat trip along the Srepok river 30 minutes.
• Visit the village of Jang Lanh of the M’nong, Laos hilltribes to learn more about the ancestral traditions of local communities.
• Back to Buon Ma Thuot. End the tour program!
