Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city Arrival

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city. The tour guide from CHD TRAVEL will take you from Tan Son Nhat airport back to the city center to check-in hotel (Check-in time is from 14:00, early check-in is subjected to the availability). The rest of day is your free time to relax after the flight.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels – City Tour ( B,L )

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet the tour guide at the hotel and we will leave for Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi Tunnels are  the historic shelter of Viet Cong soldiers during the war. Go back to Ho Chi Minh for lunch at a nice local restaurant.

You will explore the charming Ho Chi Minh City and its impressive attractions and sights on this exciting half-day tour. We will visit the famous War Remnants Museum; enrich your knowledge about Vietnam’s political and military history. Continue our trip to the Reunification Palace, it was known as the house of Indochina Governor and later the headquarter of the South Vietnam Government. You can have a look at its unique and sensational architecture designed by the award-winning architect, Ngo Viet Thu. Then we continue go on to the fascinating Notre Dame Cathedral located nearby the Reunification Palace. It was designed by French architects, built and shipped from France; this extraordinary building is a master piece of French architecture. The next destination is visit Ngoc Hoang pagoda (The Jade Emperor Pagoda). The Jade Emperor Pagoda is one of the most attractive pagodas in the city. Dedicated to various Chinese-Vietnamese divinities, in a mixture of Taoist and Buddhist styles, the pagoda houses numerous statues and delicate woodcarvings with intricate tiles on the roof. Then we come back to your hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong delta ( B,L )

Breakfast at the hotel. Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy and observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages. Then we come back to Ho Chi Minh city. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Dalat ( B,L,D )

Breakfast at the hotel. Take the domestic flight to Dalat, the city located 1,500m (4,900 ft) above sea level on the Langbian Plateau in the southern parts of the Central Highlands region. Visit Crazy house, Bao Dai's summer palace, for an insight into the daily life of the last Vietnamese Emperor and his family. Then to Truc Lam monastery and Tuyen Lam lake. Dinner and overnight in Dalat.

Day 5: Dalat, the city of flowers – Lak lake ( B,L,D )

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Dalat railway station and take the train to Trai Mat visiting Linh Phuoc pagoda.  Lunch. Visit the City flower garden, with a profusion of colorful blooms, including flowers rarely seen elsewhere in Vietnam. Drive 150km (around 4.5 hours) to Lak lake. Enjoy the gong music show with rice wine drinking with the M’Nong. Check in at Lak Tented Camp.

Day 6: Lak lake – Buon Ma Thuot ( B,L,D )

Breakfast at the hotel. Take a elephant ride across the lake and a canoe trip on the lake. Explore the native villages of the M’nong hill tribe as Jun, Le and M’Lieng by cycling. Later we drive up to the hill top to visit Bao Dai villa, a historic relic of the former Emperor Bao Dai with an overlooking the views of lake, the town and fishing village. Back to Buon Ma Thuot, the city of coffee where we stop at Trung Nguyen coffee village that you can explore a cultural space of coffee, utensils, objects on coffee and several varieties: Arabica, Robusta, Liberica (drinks at your own). Dinner and overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.

Day 7: Buon Ma Thuot – Draysap waterfall – Pleiku ( B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Daklak museum and the Draysap waterfall. Lunch at local restaurant. Transferto Pleiku city on national road 14 through vast rubber, pepper and coffee gardens. Dinner and overnight in Pleiku.

Day 8: Pleiku – Kontum – Hanoi ( B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel. We visit tea plantations and the villages of J’rai village on the way to Kontum. Lunch. Visit the wooden church and Vinh Son Orphanage, Kontum seminary, Konklo village with Rong house and suspension bridge. Dinner and take the flight from Pleiku to Hanoi. End of the services.

CHILD POLICY
Children under 12 years is generally granted a reduction up to 20% of the land tour, 10% of airfare, provided that they are accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stays in the same room. An extra bed is fully charged as adult. 

HOTEL CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

*Check-in time is 14:00. Any early check-in request will be considered subject to room availability of the hotel and room surcharge for the request will be applied as below:

• From 07:00 to prior to 14:00: charge 50% of room rate.
• Prior to 07:00: charge 100% of room rate.

*Check-out time  is 12:00. Any late check-out request will be considered subject to room availability of the hotel and  room surcharge for the request will be applied as below:

• From 12:00 to prior to 18:00: charge 50% of room rate.
• Prior to 18:00: charge 100% of room rate.

CANCELLATION  & REFUNDS
We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Vietnam; however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen.
In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to CHD Travel (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

• More than 30 days prior to trip departure. No charge; however 10% of the tour price for deposit is non-refundable. The rest of 20% of the deposit will be refunded – Cancellation received up to 16 to 30 days before departure: 35% refund of all monies paid excluding penalties if applicable charged by hotels, airlines and rail. All penalties will be itemized.
• Cancellation received from 7 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the tour price + penalties charged by hotels, airlines and rail if applicable. All penalties will be itemized.
• Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 75% of the tour price.
• Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price
• No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the tour price full
  After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

DEPOSIT AND BALANCE PAYMENTS: 
A deposit which is equal to 50% of the total tour cost joining tour is required at the time of booking, whichever greater (non – refundable). The full or final payment is required 02 days before departure for your Tour to Vietnam’s Central Highlands. If final payments are not received on time, CHD Travel may cancel the reservation and invoke the cancellation fee.

Cash payments can be made for the final payment directly to CHD Travel via our company tour guide or sales staff. This is the best way to avoid any service fees charged by Western Union or Banks. Please contact us for details on when final payments in CASH are accepted on site. 

COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS 
Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service CHD Travel has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.

In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. CHD Travel will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.

CHD Travel will act as an intermediary between the clients and other services suppliers such as air, train, boat, and hotels in the event of any complaint.

Accommodations (hotel or vessel) and pre-arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond CHD Travel’s control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned.
