COFFEE TOUR ACTIVITIES

Tour program:

Morning:

CHD TRAVEL team pick up guests at the meeting point at 08:00:

* Enjoy the first cup of coffee with the ‘traditional coffee’ of Vietnam, and get an overview of the history of coffee in Vietnam, the origin of the taste of ‘traditional coffee’

* Introduced and see in reality 3 types of coffee trees in the world: Arabica, Robusta and Liberica. Get to know basic characteristics, properties and how to identify these types of trees.

* Visit a reputable local coffee production facility:    

• Visit the coffee planting garden, intercropped with pepper…
• Learn about the coffee harvesting process, how to process dry and wet.
• See the sun-drying process under the net house, how to roast, ferment and store coffee.
• Understand the difference between a coffee farm that prioritizes quantity, and a coffee farm that focuses on producing high-quality coffee
• Enjoy a genuine cup of coffee, according to the standard of the world and ‘coffee tea (Cascara)’ (depending on the time)

*  Rest and have lunch in Buon Ma Thuot city

* Visit the Civet Coffee Production Facility:

• Learn about the history and reason for the birth of the Civet Coffee product.
• Where to raise civet and model coffee garden for civet to eat fruit,
• Learn about the process and production to make the special coffee “Civet Coffee - a legend”,
• Enjoy a cup of civet coffee (self-funded),

* Guests visit the World Coffee Museum including a collection of 10,000 artifacts brought back from the Jens Burg Museum (Hamburg, Germany), the museum also displays many utensils, tools for producing and processing coffee; this is a lively museum in the way of display, exhibition with Interactive exhibition space with visitors and experiential visits with the five senses (hear, see, taste, smell, touch).
