ELEPHANT CARE ACTIVITIES IN LAK LAKE

Duration: 01-day tour (07h30’ – 16h30’)

Tour program:

* A highlight of your tour will be a friend of elephant and helping to wash our elephant on the river.  We do not allow tourists to ride the elephants or sit on them.

* 07h30’: CHD TRAVEL team will pick up guests in Buon Ma Thuot and depart for Lak Lake, which is 52km away from Buon Ma Thuot.

* Upon arriving at Lak Lake, guests will prepare board the tractor to start the journey. Along the way, you will be provided some basic information about elephants.

* The tractor will take guests through the rice fields of the locals.

* After passing through the villages and coffee gardens, guests will arrive at the place where the elephants stay overnight. Guests will then start getting acquainted with the elephants under the guidance of the mahout before beginning their interaction with the elephants.

* Guests will have the opportunity to befriend the elephants, feed them, take photos with them, and learn about Asian elephants…

* Guests will then return to the tractor and follow the elephants to the river. They will assist the mahout in helping the elephants drink water, bathe, and feed. They can also take beautiful souvenir photos with the elephants…

* The tour will then return to Lak Lake: Guests will visit the M’Nong village to learn about the local culture, traditions, and daily activities.

* Guests will have lunch at a local restaurant. They will then take a dugout canoe on Lak Lake and explore its natural beauty.

* Guests will visit and watch the traditional pottery performance of the M’Nong people, and stop by the Yang Tao elephant rock. The tour will then return to Buon Ma Thuot and guests will be dropped off at their hotel.
