EXPLORING LAK LAKE AND THE M’NONG CULTURE

Duration: 01-day tour (08h00’ – 17h00’)

Tour program:

* Guide of CHD TRAVEL picks up guests at hotel around 08h00’ and depart to Lak Lake, 52km away from Buon Ma Thuot city on the southeast on NR 27 to Dalat city.

• Lak lake is the second largest freshwater natural lake in Vietnam after the Babe Lake in North West Mountain of the country. Located in the province of Dak Lak, refueled by the river of Krong Ana, Lak Lake is 5km2 and surrounded by the villages of the Mnong people living in very long houses, green mountains covered by lush forests. 

* Visit the E-de village of Akodhong with traditional long houses-on-stilts. Arul coffee shop is your optional.

* Climb up to the top of the biggest elephant rock with nice surrounding views and fresh-air.

* On arrival to Lak Lake: walk around the village to join in the local people’s lifestyles and hear about their traditions and cultures….  

* Elephant riding and dug-out canoe trip on the lake to get such amazing experiences.

* Lunch at local restaurant with some local specialities.

* (Optional in the afternoon: Gong music show with rice wine drinking at Le village).

* Cycling through rice fields to M’Lieng village, see more peaceful spots surrounded by mountains and beautiful countryside sceneries

* Back to Buon Ma Thuot, on the way stop to see the coffee and pepper plantations.
